Do I need to buy another subscription if I change my domain name?
Yes. The product works for one Squarespace website & domain combination. This means that if you change your domain to another one (website.com to website2.com), including from a squarespace.com domain to a custom domain, you will need to buy the product again (and cancel your old subscription). You can have subdomains as long they pertain to the same Squarespace website. For example, language subdomains: es.website.com. If you want to use a subdomain that is not yet present in our whitelist, please contact support. ShinyPass reserves itself the right to pursue legal action if someone uses subdomains to use one ShinyPass subscription for multiple Squarespace websites. The system may change in the future.
